Frequently Asked Questions!
FAQs About Biokinesiology
How long does it take to see results?
Many people notice benefits within just a few days of following their protocol, such as improved energy or reduced symptoms. However, everyone is unique, and the time it takes to see noticeable improvements depends on the degree of dysfunction in your body. For more significant health challenges, it may take 3–4 weeks of consistent adherence to your personalized plan to experience measurable changes.
Will I have to avoid certain foods long-term?
In some cases, once the gut has healed and inflammation has subsided, certain foods can be reintroduced gradually and safely. However, for major irritants like wheat or dairy, long-term avoidance may be necessary to maintain optimal health. Your practitioner will guide you on reintroducing foods if it is appropriate for your situation.
Will I need to take a lot of supplements?
No, we aim to keep supplement use as minimal as possible. Our testing is precise, and we will only recommend what is truly essential for your body. Supplements are often over-prescribed, but our approach ensures you take only what your body needs to heal and thrive.
How will you assess my young child?
For young children or individuals unable to perform muscle testing, we use a method called surrogate testing. This involves using a parent or guardian as a surrogate to evaluate the child’s responses. This method is highly effective and allows us to provide care for children and even elderly individuals who may struggle with direct testing.
Can Biokinesiology help with specific health conditions?
Biokinesiology can address a wide range of issues, including digestive disorders, food intolerances, skin conditions, hormonal imbalances, fatigue, stress, and more. By identifying and addressing the root causes of these issues, it provides a holistic pathway to improved health.
What happens if I don’t follow my protocol?
For optimal results, it is essential to follow the recommendations provided. The protocol is designed to address the specific issues identified during your session. Deviating from the plan may slow progress and prevent you from achieving the desired outcomes.
Will I have to avoid certain food groups?
If you are dealing with ongoing health issues, it is likely that you will need to eliminate certain foods that are causing irritation or inflammation. While this requires discipline and temporary sacrifice, the benefits of reducing symptoms and regaining control of your health will far outweigh the challenges. Being prepared to make these adjustments is key to your success.
Do I have to stay on prescribed supplements long-term?
In most cases, supplements are used for short-term support and are only needed for about one month. During your reassessment, your progress will be evaluated, and adjustments to your supplement regimen will be made. Once the affected systems have healed, you can often stop taking supplements, although you may be advised to continue with one or two key supplements for ongoing maintenance.
How many sessions will I need?
For the Comprehensive Treatment, you will be reassessed after one month. If you have adhered to your protocol, significant improvements should be evident by then. At that point, we fine-tune your plan based on your progress. Many clients do not require additional sessions, but in cases of chronic or long-term issues, further follow-ups may be necessary.
Is Biokinesiology safe?
Yes, biokinesiology is a completely safe and non-invasive method suitable for people of all ages. It uses gentle muscle testing and does not involve any medications or procedures, making it an ideal choice for addressing health concerns naturally.
What is the difference between the Basic and Comprehensive Treatments?
- The Basic Treatment focuses on identifying food intolerances and assessing your current supplements to optimise your digestive health. This service is ideal for generally healthy individuals or athletes looking to enhance their performance and well-being.
- The Comprehensive Treatment provides an in-depth analysis of your overall health, including testing for toxins, nutrient deficiencies, digestive enzyme function, and more. This service is designed for individuals with chronic or unresolved health concerns who want a detailed understanding of their body’s needs.
